Hi all.I don't have a photo but I have a Plastimo headsail furler. The forestay passes through the drum and terminates in an eye which is clevis pinned to a pair of parallel chainplates that are secured (factory fitting) to the underside of the drum (the non-rotating part of course). All fairly standard. The forestay tension is in turn transferred via the two parallel chainplates to the vertical flange that extrudes from the foredeck fitting with another Clevis pin.Should I have a bottle screw (rigging bolt) "inside" the two parallel chainplates that is also pinned to the eye at the foot of the forestay and that is pinned using a toggle if necessary to the foredeck flange? The current setup has been in place since 2005 but I am slightly uneasy that the it is "belt rather than "belt & braces".Advice very welcome. Thanks,John V1447 Breakaway
