It will take you to D&R marine.Look up the 25 O'Day and it should be in that list. I would then call D&R and talk to Rudy to order them. E-mail is low on his priority list. They are not cheap.r.w.landau
Wow! you are right, thye're not cheap. $300 a shot. But, what the heck it is a boat after all. Someone replaced one in my boat before I bought it and it looks so much nicer than the others. Well, at least I'll only have to replace 5 now.
Randy,I recently replaced the 2 most forward ports (windows) on my 25 with Beckson ports (they open for ventilation) that I bought at WM. Not an exact fit.... but I bought thew closest ones to the original size and just enlarged the hole slightly with my jigsaw. Easy install. I will be replacing the other 4 ports this spring with non-opening ports because the original glass is yellowing (non-opening is less $).Here is a link to their website. Good luck!http://www.beckson.com/ports.html
I've got a 1976 Oday 25 and the original ports were yellowed and scratched. I didn't have the budget to replace them but I did find a product that refinishes them. It's the same process that they use to refinish the plexiglas on old airplanes. It cost less than $40 and was more than enough to do all 6 ports. They look like new now. If you're interested, I've included the link to their web site. Good luck.
How bad were your ports and how well did it work. I have a 78 O 25 and I have some cracking from age and they are very dull. It sounds like great alternative. I might try it before I apply the polyglow this spring. Right know I am redoing the whole interior so the ports will be last on my list.QuetilaStony Brook, NY
It sounds like my ports were in the same condition as yours. 30+ years of exposure to the elements. The process actually removes the top layer of the port and then brings it back to optical-grade clarity. Just take some time and follow the directions. Once I did the outside, the inside of the port only needed a light buffing. I would highly recommend this stuff.
