Something for the Oceanis and Sense models. Has anyone found the Grail? I would love to see what others have found. I am familiar with Iverson, Great canvas work. I seek not a thread of canvas nor a inch of vinyl window. No zippers. No stainless tent frame. Something that doesn't block the view, Something that looks like it belongs there. Is that so much to ask? : ) Can they ship it in three to six weeks. That would be asking to much. Thanks in advance for any replies. Back to my quest

To get one in 3-6 weeks you may have to build it yourself. (forgoing any sleep) There's a good article in the February 2016 issue of Sail on how to do it.

Do a Google search for "Hard Dodger Design". There will be lots of images of different designs. Some will give you contact information for the company that built them.

Mongo Mike,
We have a canvas dodger with the plastic windows (can't recall the fancy name for them).
I would never get a solid dodger unless the windows were plastic or easily removed. On warm days, we love to take the windows out.

Welcome to sailing Mike! The reason sailors have used soft dodgers for so long is the ability to collapse them and reduce windage during a storm. Yet, stretching deck canvas across a 14' beam span can be a challenge, so I wish you good luck with your quest.

Thanks for your reply, Honestly my post was a bit of a rhetorical research thing. I know there is nothing like what I described. It was the responses to the idea of something like that actually being available I was interested in. Because I've developed it. The replies have been good information, yours was one of the more valuable. Thanks again!
I woud love to be looking over the Bay right now with my elbows blackened from the newspaper table cloth, eating blue crab. Bet you know what i mean. Mongo mike
