Appropriate tank(bottle) for stern propane locker

I recently purchased a 1988 First 285. I cannot find a propane tank that will fit into its propane locker and accommodate a regulator etc. I have tried a 5 lb Manchester tank.....it barely fits, but will not leave room for hose, or regulator and pressure gauge. I am stymied and so is the 'yard'.

when I had to upgrade my valve to the new style, I had a hard time finding someone who would sell me the valve and put it on the tank I already had, since it was the only one that would fit - try BeneteauUSA; they may have one, or try E-bay. you may have to have one built or modify the locker.
