I used a cream restorer on the boat sides and rather than use a cloth to apply it I used one of those small rollers that are used for decorating. It was a great improvement.
1) It was much easier to see where you had applied the stuff and if you missed a space you just rolled out the surrounding.
2) It was quite economic. One bottle did my 31ft boat.
3) Not nearly so much work. Rolling is a lot easier then the circular motion.
4) I did the sides of the boat in about 4 hours
I was worried that I was going to over apply . I found that the best way was to apply, allow it to haze then go over lightly with a soft cloth and then electric polish.
