Apostle Islands Launch/slip/storage

Hello out there... I trust everyone is fat and happy after a good turkey day and spent their retirement on Black Friday.... I know that you southern sailors are still enjoying the water, but being a northern sailor, it has been too long since I have been on my boat already. I am dreaming I next season....
This past season we moved from Chicago to central Wisconsin, within a few hours o the Apostle Islands. I am excited to be able to sail the islands this coming season.
I drove around the Bayfield/Ashland area during Applefest weekend and looked at all the obvious spots to launch from, but was looking for more options. So I am reaching out to the experts out there... Are there any hidden gems out there? I am looking for either:
1. Reasonably priced slip
2. Mast up trailer storage for my Macgregor 26 with convenient launch
3. Mast down storage with access to launch

Can anyone help guide me as to where I can find this info?

http://www.ashlandmarina.com/marina-rates.htmlI just moved my boat up there. Ashland marina rates are the lowest I have found in the area. It's not as convenient to the islands as Bayfield but my wife is from Ashland and it was a chance to return home.

The marinas and slips at Bayfield and Ashland are prime real estate for the most part. If you don't mind being a little further from the Apostles Port Wing and Cornucopia both have pretty nice marinas. I don't recall how much water your Mac 26 draws with the keel up and the slips at Port Wing are a little shallow (~2 1/2 ft), however the transient side ties will accommodate fixed keel boats there. Cornucopia has slips that will accommodate fixed keel boats.

Where ever you intend to slip for the season, I would suggest making a decision by Jan 1. They're mostly taken after that.

If you want to do Mast up Trailer storage in the Apostal Island area... you can't beat Washburn Marina for price, location and accessible/usable ramp...

As you may have seen, most of the marinas in Bayfield cater to larger boats. Most do not have launch ramps as most apostle islands boats have to be lifted in.

Squidd is right; Washburn is a good choice for options with trailer able boat. Only downside is the 3 hour sail to the islands. Ashland even farther. In Bayfield there no 'deals' on slips. Its sellers market.
