I wired in the Apelco MS-108L depth soudner that was in my boat when I bought it. I be damend if it didn't start spinning. The transducer started clicking away. I think the thing works! The only problem is that the light on the spinning dial has a dead bulb. I need to replace it. I can't get the faceplate off because the gain knobwon't come off. I can't find out how to get the stupid knob off! Soemone qwith a little more experience (and/or patience) can solve my quandry, I just know it! Help!
