Anyone using the new Garmin GPSMAP 76CS

I am thinking about upgrading my handheld GPS76 to the new Garmin color GPSMAP 76CS. Anyone currently using the new model? I am looking to get it more for the the BlueCharts info. Any reviews on either the GPS unit or the BlueCharts downloads!

G 76S

I have the B/W G76S Map and the Blue Chart software. Both are great.My understanding is that there are no major differences in the color and B/W versions.However, usually color screens draw more power. I'd look into that.

G76CS update

I use both the G76S and The Americas Blue Charts from Garmin.This month's Practical Sailor contains a comparison of various handheld GPS units. Have not gotten my copy yet, but the advance promo from the magazine says the G76 is tops. I'd read the article before purchasing the G76CS.I did note that the Pixel per inch (PPI) for the 76CS is 109 while the PPI for the 76S 111. That tells me that the definition is greater for the B/W version. You'd have to compare them side by side to see if there is a noticable difference. Also, I think the major differences between the various versions of the G76 is the amount of memory. However, my experience is that you don't need to download all the charts you've purchased to your GPS. My unlock code allows me to view several hundred charts but I seldom need more than one or two on a trip.
