Hey everyone,I hope spring is breaking up north.I have a question for the group, does anyone have experience with CDI furlers?I'm considering ordering one and need input.Pat McCartin
I have an H-27 with a CDI furler. SImple, strong and easy to install. I pugraded mine from a aluminum luff to the plastic luff and replaced a few parts that after 20 years needed upgrading. The company was great. I recomment them without reservation.!!!!
i have 2 older cdi furlers on my 37c. both are tightened with a down haul. Its a pain in the butt to go forward to adjust it but not really a problem to get tension.
I am replacing the standing rigging on my 33 and adding a CDI furler (It had none). Everything I have read here, on SailNet and other sites (all owner postings) says they can do the job and are simple and reliable. My only question is a FF7 or 9.Mike
Thanks. I am sending my old rigging to them for a quote. Based on their prices on the website and favorable comments from others I think they will be the best combination of price and service. And their prices on CDI furlers are very good too.Mike
