Yes

We have had our 33 for several months and it sails great. We have had 6 people on for a daysail and could have handled 8 easily. We have also spent a "night on the hook" and it was roomy for two to prepare and eat dinner, watch a DVD and sleep. Gregg's review is right on target. Barry Bear Necessity H33 #128

Yes and we love it........

it has wonderful speed and on one particular day we passed a Catalina and a CnC and kept up with some larger boats! We have slept 5 adults and sailed with the same number. We anchor at one of the islands every weekend and there's plenty of room for 2 or 4 very comfortably. It's great being able to fix meals and relax to watch a DVD, etc. We've had it to a little over 6knots so far and it's pretty exciting when you can move so effortlessly. Compared to our 260, water ballast, this is far less "squirrley" to sail. LOve this boat!! The best plus is not having the compression post in the cabin. Lots roomier looking Happy Sails to You ;D Kathy

Shrouds

We've also been looking at the new 33's and one concern of mine is the deck walk area. It seems cumbersome getting to the bow while having to maneuver around the outboard shrouds which crisscross alond the side deck. I'd be interested in your experieince.

New Hunter 33, very nice boat

I have been sailing my new Hunter 33 for the first time this weekend in the Rapel Lake in Chile. That's my first time and did not have experience in sailing boats like this. Very easy to handle and very nice boat.
