Anyone missing their rudder

While driving home from the Sailing Center yesterday I found a rudder laying on the side of the road. It was on SR-70 out in the middle of nowhere west of Fort Pierce Fla. I stopped and picked it up. I know it is a long shot but I would like to return it to its rightful owner. Anyone here lose their rudder or know someone who did. PM me and I will get it back to you.

That area is the not last place on earth I would expect to find a sailboat rudder lying next to the road but it is down the list a bit.

May Good Karma come your way! +1 for making the effort to retrieve the rudder and then advertise for the return to the owner. Perhaps Craigslist under boat parts and maybe Facebook. Best wishes.

Would probably have been better to just leave it there, so the owner could find it by backtracking.

Hold out for a ransom payment since you will be accused of having stole it anyway.
