Run along the 18-fm isobath then cut east toward G5 to enter the channel. Should be good if not at night. No need to foul prop. Giant bladder kelp starts to sparse out near 90 to 100 ft depth, but watch for drifting patches. OR--trail one of the locals through a cut that takes you nearly to G7.
