Thoughts on the brand of boat this is?

A double-ended cutter rigged boat... could be a lot... if you can get a HIN off the transom, you can look it up by the HIN. If the boat is USCG documented, you can look it up by name and the USCG documentation should say what make/model it is.

It would help if you gave more information about the boat, like the LOA, beam, name, hailing port, etc.

I believe it is a Lafette 44.....I probably misspelled the name but this is close. I knew a doctor who had one locally.....he eventually sold it and it left the area. It was a very well made vessel, proven by the miles of open ocean sailing he did in it.

Yes it is indeed a Lafitte 44 and she was designed by Bob Perry and I believe built in Taiwan..
