I'm getting ready to start a new project (installation of another battery as an emergency start battery). I've been looking at prices, and I see that Defender's price for battery cable is actually slightly higher than those at Waste Marine. However, I found another online supplier (see link) who has prices that are way lower. In fact, they are so much lower (about 1/4 of the others' prices) that I'm suspicious as to the quality. WM, for instance, sells #6 AWG battery cable for $3.85/ft. This place sells it for $0.99 per foot. What do you think?

Anyone Know Supplier

Nope, No experience. His specs on the wire look legit. As long as it is real tinned copper and not aluminum wire, it looks like a Genuine Deal?

My only concern is that they don't sell the

terminals and the crimping tools for #6 wire. Unless you have a short run and a small starter heavier wire might be a better choice.

I Have Purchased Cable From Him

It was good quality tinned 00 cable for a battery conversion. An RV place can do the crimping for you as can some truck and auto parts places. Rick D.

I recommend them

I've used them several times with great results. Actually, I've had them make up several 00 battery cables with the exact terminals that I wanted. Received them in a few days. Excellent quality as far as I can tell.

The only slight difficulty I had was figuring out how to order custom cables from the website. You need to order the separate parts (cable, terminals, heatshrink tubing, etc) then add units of labor for each crimp. Then you can describe what you want in a "special instructions" box.

A local shop wanted to charge me $700+ for what I ordered. My total order with GenuineDealz was less than $200.

they are great!

I buy from them all the time-product as advertised, and great service! I've also let them assemble my battery cables and they do a great job.

Highly recomend them

I have used them a couple of times and they are great. Good prices and fast service. I have had them make up some battery cables and the workmanship is top rate. They are also a great place to buy adhesive lined heat shrink tubing, many times better than the stuff you can get at most places. When I got mine they also had the best price on heat shrink connectors that I could find. Almost enough to make me want to do some more wiring. Only kidding!!!!!
