I am presently setting up a deck organizer on my 26.5, I drilled down through the cabin top and hit the aluminum plate i was expecting. Now the question is "How thick is it"??? I do not want to come through the cabin top if I can help it. I tried to use self starting screws but I don't think it worked. I am going to tap and die it. Never did that either. If anyone ever installed new deck gear, Any help would be appreciated. Thank You TJ
