Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone had flown an Asym on a B20? If so, how did you rig it and how did you like it?

Was thinking of picking up one of these this year for Gotcha and wanted to see if anyone else had used it. It looks and makes more sense to me to get one of these rather then a full spinnaker as Gotcha is not rigged for a spinnaker and it appears the Asym should give me very comparable performance without the some of the extra hardware needed to fly a Spin.

Please let me know your experiences if you have. If you've flown a full Spin on one let me know your thoughts on it as well. I'm still open to thoughts on this as I haven't spent the money on anything yet.

Thanx,

Chad

spinnaker

not on a 20 but on a 26 yes it took practice and two people to do it right(ya still got to steer when launching it ) we tried in light winds till we knew how and come race day we did great. my 1974 balboa 26 took overall for big boats for two years running after a total of 16 races. not bad for a boat thats 36 years old.
