Anyone ever mounted an Ampair 100?

Most of the wind gennies I have seen, call for, and have a mount for inch and a half tubing. I mounted a Air-X 400 using two inch, necked down to one and a half right at the unit. Last one I had mounted was before Katrina, and it was on the one and a half. Katrina snapped it like a twig. Was the only hurricane damage I had.

NNE - you nailed my concern

Seems like 1.5" is a bit flimsy. I would feel better with 3" which is probably over building. So you have had no problems with the 2"?

we tested nne's boat in ways you dont want to test yours and it stood up fine..even still works!!!!! i am impressed.....
