Hello everyone, we are on the tedious search for a new prop shaft for our Beneteau 42. While shopping around, I received a quote from Deep Blue Yacht Supply of Florida that was easily $200 less than anyone else's. Even Beneteau!
Don't want to naturally jump to the cheapest supplier unless they are also reputable and provide a good product. So anyone have any dealings with them, positive or negative?
Thanks

my only suggestion is to make sure you are comparing identical products. are they same metal quailiy ?? both new and one not being a "remanufatured" (straightned or cut down) are both ends machined if needed ? no knowledge of deep blue but $200 less is a big difference.

Ditto what Pete said...make sure you're comparing apples to apples. $200 difference doesn't seem right. Also keep in mind that shipping a shaft can be fairly pricey. Probably truck freight depending on the length and weight. Even in alloys like Aquamet there are different grades and prices.
