Anyone bought the Hunter Edge?

Hi folks, has anyone out here purchased a Hunter Edge?
If so how do you like it so far?

Don't own one, but was intrigued by it...

I know it gets bashed a neither power nor sail, but I climbed inside one at the boat show a few months ago. It was interesting- the cabin was WIDE open, like the houses being built today with great rooms open to the kitchen, etc.

I hope you get a response from an owner... way more informative than hearing the same old Mac insults hurled at this, too....

Tim, I know what you mean about the bashing.
I know a Mac owner, old Navy sailor, he wouldn't sail any other boat out there!
I figure he has earned the right to sail whatever he wants!
I have to admit, that big ole' Honda 50 gets you there when you want to go!

Jack, most Mac owners swear by them..

of course, that can be said for most brands, i guess. I have a Sea Ray 24 I/O along with sailing, just because all the really neat stuff around here is a 3 hour sail, one way, or 15-20 minutes powering. The thought of getting where I want to go that fast is pretty tempting! It probably doesn't sail as well as a lot of boats, but most cars can't perform as well as a corvette, but people find their sedans and SUV's fit their needs better...
