Hello all, I have a 1980 27' that I'm repowering (outboard- yuck!). I am pulling the motor (it has a cracked head) and hate to see it go to waste. I know I was always shocked at how difficult to find and expensive parts were for it when it ran. Anyway, I'd like to pull it next weekend, but I can wait if somebody's willing to pick it up or help me pull it. I have nowhere to store it and it has to be picked up. I'm in Melbourne FL.
For full disclosure- it was well maintained with regular oil changes and new filters, but it sat for a while and consequentially it is fairly corroded. It also has a cracked exhaust manifold. I am NOT interested in pulling parts and shipping them since I'm pretty busy getting the boat ready for a keys trip.
