We cannot get our roller fuller to work, replacing it seems expensive so we would like to repair it if possible. The problem we have is that we have no idea what brand or type of roller fuller we have. We have looked all around it and it has no name or any numbers on it.
Any one know name and model of OEM 1985 Hunter 34 roller fuller?

It would likely be a Furlex 200, but you better ID the actual unit on the boat as on a 30 year old boat it could have been replaced by a PO. Depending on the problem rebuilding the unit may be just as costly as replacing with a new one. Try lubricating the lower bearing assembly as well as the halyard swivel. Wash the assembly with a pressurized soap and water solution and rinse off with a hose, allow it to dry and then lubricate. If the bearings are shot then removal of the unit would be necessary. At this point it would be advisable to expose the fore stay for inspection and install the rebuild or replacement unit. If you do not have experience installing these units I would recommend you engage the services of a professional rigger.
Roller furling was not standard on the boat so it could be one of several that were available.. Mine is a Harken, an old model 1, but it still works fine.. Welcome to the group. You'll find a lot of useful H-34 info in the "owner mods" and "Downloads" sections ..here is a picture of my old Harken:

Looks like ours is definitely not a Harken, ours is all stainless (metal look). I will have to post a picture of it to see if anyone can identify it.
That is definitely a Harken furler and could actually be a size 2 as I found out mine was when I replaced the standing rigging a couple of years back. If it is a size 2, definitely worth fixing.
Here are a few photos of my roller furler, the biggest problem is that the top piece does not go all the way up, it gets stuck. Also the aluminum rails (there's 4 or five going all the way up towards the mast) they are separating and have gaps I between them. When I lift the furler up, they all snap back together but as soon as I let go they come apart leaving a gap.

Just a suggestion, but check your backstay, it may have been tightened and "lengthened" the rigging wire on the furling unit (not sure of the exact terminology). If you release the back stay it may take pressure off the front rigging that is causing the seperation. Also looks like the lower unit is adjustable and might be able to raise the foils a bit.
It looks like a CDI - I think mine is a model FF10 or 12. Yours looks like it has been modified with a new single line drum. The originals were continuous line. CDI is now a Canadian company- in Winnipeg MB. The old company had more information on the website about the older models- continuous line, internal halyard ( cable).
