I don't know what this piece of aluminum angle is behind my steps. I haven't seen it on other Hunter boats.
I have a 2002 Hunter 386.
Any ideas?

It mounted a piece of Teak or in my case Corian counter top, to keep people shoes from damaging your teak panel

As they climb up your stairs , their toes of shoes bang on it.
