Looking for advice about Cleveland area marinas. If I were to bring my boat back from Florida it would have to be closer than Huron where it once lived. It is 80 miles from here to Huron and 50 miles to Cleveland. That hour of driving could be important.

I know some marina names like Edgewood, the yacht club, 55th street, and Whiskey Island. On the way to Florida we overnighted at Edgewood but I remember very little. So any recommendations with some reasons would be much appreciated.

There never was an Edgewood. Lets start of from West to East. Edgewater Yacht Club is a sailing club. Costs about $6000 to join. Nice, old farts.
In the same basin is Edgewater Marina, where I keep my boat. They are still working to make the docks accommodate larger boats and the fee is about $1500 per summer...$800 for winter storage. We do get surges in here, but it usually affects "E" dock only (where I am).

Next is Whiskey Island. They are about $2300 for the summer, and filled. But you can try. It is a fairly protected anchorage with a great bar (with so-so food, which use to be good-good food...new management don't ya know.)

Next is the East Side....Lakeside Yacht Club. Again $6000 to join...very protected, nice people. Next is Forest City Yacht Club. Haven't a clue as to what it costs, but I bet its the same as Lakeside. Again very protected.
Last is E55th, where you get in by lottery in August. There were openings this year so I was able to get a dock in April. Cost is about $1800 and it is a very well protected marina with a restaurant and bar.
If I had my druthers, I'd look at E 55th first, then Edgewater Marina, then a Yacht Club (unless you have money...then go with a Marina.)
There are some spots upriver, but they cost a lot AND you have to go through bridges to get in and out AND there are ore boats...BIG ore boats, squeezing by. A friend had his 38'er crushed this spring by an errant ore boat.

Thanks. I do know that it is Edgewater, just a normal 68 year old brain fart. Rates look pretty good, less than Huron maybe. Hard to tell because we paid an annual fee at Harbor North that included everything including bottom wash at haul-out. I really liked that the islands were easily reached on a daysail. But I would give that up to have easier access to the boat. This is all very preliminary. A smart man would sell the boat in Florida and forget the whole thing.
