The dodger, if properly made, ($1,500) will allow the for rising of the top. Simply unsnap the forward section from the top and unzip the glass, and it should clear the dodger. However, the biggest problem with a full dodger is moving forward, you have to step over the side area which is tight to the life lines, as a good dodger will cover the winches and rope clutch.. The positive side, you can have the weather boards out and the glass slid fully forward in the rain!! Besides it gives the boat a big boat look.. I normally lay my charts etc on the glass with out fear of blowing away while underway…GOOD LUCK
