I have just purchased the Alden 44 Azzurra, hull #36 and formally named Thistle and Exile. It is beautiful. We are re-fitting painting deck and hull, along with new propeller, shaft, cutless bearing, shaft seal and transmission work and will launch in Lake Erie (Port Clinton, Ohio) at the Catawba Island Club in the spring of 2024.
