CAL 35 Cruiser #21 moored EVERETT WA
Back in August, I challenged the members to identify this boat that crossed my track to home port..
This vessel challenged my path to the first buoy entering our river.

Any one know what type of vessel this is. What could the metal structures at the spreader level of the mast serve to do on the boat?
Well I have discovered the answer. It is a traveling troupe putting on maritime shows in the ports of call.
Amara Zee
The Caravan Stage Company has a most unique theater venue — a 90 ft tall ship, the Caravan Stage Tall Ship Theater.

There current production Nomadic Tempest was played in Port of Everett over the Labor Day Weekend. http://caravanstage.org/portfolio/nomadic-tempest-2017/

So all the superstructure... It is the stage.

I love the idea of a sailboat-based business. I've imagined a Pop-up seafood restaurant like that and have thought about designing a sailboat around a mobil woodshop.
My father met a pirate in North Carilina who performed shows on his boat.
