I am about to install a windlass in the anchor locker of my 37 C. I have looked at the archives and a number of photo links aren't coming up. Those who have added a hause pipe for the chain - How far down did you take the pipe? Where does the chain end up? Ed Schenk - Could you please repost the photo of the ply slope you built to avoid chain pile-up? Or give me another explanation. Also, did you install a battery specifically for the windlass? Thanks for the anticipated help, guys. BTW, my holding tank is now leaking. Thanks to the contributers of the archives for making my choices so much easier and quicker.
