I am in too. Rhetorical question: If the General Aviation community is able to keep this crap out of their fuel, why can't the vast American public?
I honestly believe the whole ethanol in gasoline thing was a scheme implemented by the Bush's to skim billions off the retail gasoline market. It's a joke from an ecology perspective, since it has been shown by several scholars that the entire process of putting ethanol in gas uses more energy to move a car down the road than without, and produces more pollution.

Ethanol free gas is available out here at many retailers, if you live near a race track there is a seller of "race fuel" which is high octane and ethanol free in your area.

On a side note ethanol has less BTU's per gallon which makes fuel consumption increase. When Oregon passed the E-10 mandate a number of law makers who passed it lamented on the loss of economy in their Prius. Just goes to show how little law makers know about a subject before voting on it.

Where are these sources in So. Calif?

Based on Thinwater's research, I am having good luck with BioBor EB in my outboard. But apart from buying TruFuel at Home Depot at exorbitant cost, I'm not aware of these ethanol-free sources that are "everywhere"--at least out here.
Any airport or racetrack gas station would be two likely sources. I'm not very familiar with Southern California but suspect the state hasn't outlawed either of those yet:cool:

Airport security is such now ( pilot friends) that you can't just show up and fill up a couple of 4 gallon cans. You ain't getting in. I filled out the petition form last night, 2 form letters from MD. Congressional representatives showed up in e mail today.

Tru-Fuel or VP Small engine fuel are about the only options in my area. $$$$ fortunately these small engines don't use that much, but I use them in my dinghy and snowblower. Worth the extra cost to avoid servicing, frustration and downtime

CAM-10 100 octane with no ethanol is $10/gal in my neighborhood.
