Another Doc. Scam

I know this topic has been posted several times over the years, but just thought it should be kept out there to warn others who may be unaware. Received a FINAL NOTICE from a place called Vessel Documentation Portal out of Fairfax Va. In the body of the letter it stated that recreational docs will only be issued in five year increments. (Not true). Went to their website, Vessel Renewal US - Vessel Documentation Portal to check on this. If you check the box for recreational the only option they give you is a five year renewal for $375.
The real Nat'l Vessel Doc. Center is in Falling Waters, W.Va.
Here is their website: National Vessel Documentation Center Cost:$26/yr.

I get the same notice every year about the time my vessel doc is due for renewal. Thanks for posting.

Got the same letter in the mail.
I round filed it with the "Buy Discount Insurance now!" letters.
