Sailed up to Malibu with less than 2 ft swell and 6-12 mph winds. A picture perfect day except for the poor people in Malibu. They did have 80 mph winds as you can see from the streaming smoke. As the wind and smoke empty into the sea it dissipates to 10-12 mph where the smoke seems to billow. There were quite a few sail boat there, like moths to a fire. I feel for the people who live there, having lived there myself and survived 2 fires. Frank
