Going to be in this area in a few weeks. What are the good places to look for used sails? Hardware? What marina can I go to and just walk around and look for a next purchase :) Also need a good local place to eat. Thanks for all your help...

Bacon's for sails Bert Jabins for boats -- probably has over 100 boats sitting there ++ . Most local down town restaurants are great. You can find these on the WEB.

I assume you'll have a car? Most marina's here a basically open. String of them down Back Creek, Bert Jabins, Port Annapolis and Annapolis Landing are good for yard and dock walking. Hunter dealer is at Jabin's, great folks to talk to. Bacons is basically a huge consginiemtn shop, hard to find, great to walk around. Fawcett's on the waterfront has been the sailor's shrine for a long, long time. It's changing in nature now with new owners, more upscale and clothing, etc., but still a great place to be. Boatyard Bar/Grill over in Eastport is the sailor's watering hole. Great food, Wed night movies from the races, etc. Highly recommend. While you're there, walk accross the street and long the water. There's lot of boats there (near Chart House) and you can see Spa Creek and drool. Just get downtown and let ur senses lead you. You really can't get in too much trouble and there's something at the end of every street.
