Hi everyone, I could use some help. Boat is in Mexico... don't have access to it. I want to add a removable "handrail" on the transom so when I am backed into the slip and guests walk on to the boat, I can keep a few of them from falling in the water-yes, it really happens and it's dangerous (I put a rubber duckie sticker (1" sq) on the transom when someone falls in). So what I want to do is use one of these on the lower part of the transom, then make a rail that will fit into it easily, then connect to the stern rail, and easily removed. I can get these in 30, 45, 60, 90 degree angles. Just something to help a few unsteady folks.
Can somebody please measure the angle of the transom just to the port of the ladder? I'm guessing 45, but I would like to be sure.
