I will need to stop at a Publix Pharmacy a couple of hundred Feet from River drive, just South of the I-95 bridge. The Google earth map shows a shoreline perfect for anchoring for the hour I would need to be there. Does anyone know if that is OK, no city violations etc?

TIA,

Dave

Dave,

There is free dockage just north of the bridge at Riverside Park. It is about 3/4 of a mile from the Publix on Riverside Drive.

There is quite a lot of current through this area so anchoring may be difficult unless you can get into an area out of the main stream.

Thanks so much for the info. I didn't see a single boat in the area I mentioned, from what you say, it makes sense. I just spoke with Arlington Marina about a couple of hours there. He said $10 to $20 IF they have a spot, and cab fare for the two miles to THAT Publix. I have walking limitations, so even a mile is out of the question. Maybe I'll get lucky. As I learn more about this sailing/boating thing, Luck seems play a big role in how things go.

Also you might try calling ahead to the pharmacy. Some offer RX delivery.
