Thanks for all the responses on your anchoring choices. Seems like it can be summed up like this: 1. Bigger is better 2. Plows work better in mud 3. Lots of people like Bruce anchors 4. Local knowledge is best - on this note, that is why I asked the question - I saw everysort of anchor hanging on boats around me. Also, our mud in Louisiana is not very firm, so size is probably more important than in many situations.
