Anchoring Configuration

I've had three boats prior to getting my '86 H23, and they all had cleats on deck. This boat has but one, and it's in the anchor locker. Not to mention a severe lack of chocks. How in the world do you properly secure the anchor rode on this boat? I'm seriously thinking about using a snubber line attached to the bow hook and tied to the rode with a rolling hitch. Thoughts? Cleats

We used the pins molded into each side aft for awhile. Last week I added a cleat on each side aft on the vertical portion under on the back side of the pins. IN front I use the cleat inside the anchor locker, but I did add rope guides on each side. If you mount them far enough forward you can get into a metal plate molded into the fiberglass. I drilled the holes undersize then tapped them. Works great.
