does any one have any experience with fitting an anchor windlass in the center of the deck just aft of the anchor locker. I have seen this done by a Hunter dealer and the owner says it functions just fine.
I did it and so did my neighbor. I mounted it in line with the anchor pulpit and not exactly on center. I fitted a board in the locker so that I can carry my stern anchor gear in the locker also. I used 1//4" hi-test chain to save weight (about 135 ft.). Works like a charm. ChuckWolfe@mail.com Rhapsody
