anchor winch bow roller alignment

My 340 has an S/L electric anchor winch, which has a chain gypsy and rope drum, this is mounted on a plinth at the back end of anchor locker. It is to low for a correct lead lead to the bowroller causing rope on drum to get riding turns any ideas for a quick fix anyone?

Plinth Obliquity

If you angle the plinth (a word, by the way, that I had to look up!), you should be able to create a fair lead. A wedge made of a stout hardwood might do the job. Or, if I understood your problem as little as I understood the word, could you explain the problem more?
