Check out this archives on this thread as it was written about at length when the 376 was in production and just after the 380's came out in 1999. The problem was corrected on the 380's unknown if 376 owners found a retrofit that works but the archives will give you a wealth of information. Bob Knott H380

The problem is NOT that the rope isn't heavy enough. I have an all-chain rode and experience the same problem. The problem seems to be that the chain piles up in the anchor locker because it does not have a smooth enough path to the bottom of the locker. I haven't looked into the archives for a solution, but it sure is a problem.
