Bow Roller
We added a bow anchor roller to our Hunter 26. It's bolted on right where the original bow cleat used to be. The bow cleat had broken, so it was replaced by a pair of bow cleats positioned just like on the newer 260's, which we use with the anchor as well as at our slip. One big caveat: There are inspection plates in the anchor well behind which are the nuts for the cleats. Be sure the bolts are well sealed, and the inspection plates snugged down. If this is not the case, and the drain from the anchor locker becomes clogged with, say, Mississippi River mud, all sorts of water will come in around the V-berth area.
