Anchor roller ?

I am in the process of bulding a anchor holder for a Delta 14 so that it will be kept on the bow of our H26. After searching archives etc I have ordered a BRM-2, and will probably make the base out of either stainless steel (like the one George Henry made, from the archives) or use 1" thick king Starboard. Any thoughts/imput before I start this project? George if you are still out there can yu contact me. Thanks in advance for your imput. Chris sv Charisma

That is what I put on my H26. I angled it just to starboard of the headstay and lined it up with the line cut out of the anchor locker. I cut just the end off to coincide with the locker. I, also, made a backing plate in a triangular shape that fit in the tip of the bow. To secure the anchor while underway, I had a couple of stainless nuts welded to the locker end so that I could slide a pin through the end of the anchor to keep it from accidently deploying.
