I would like to put an anchor roller on my 1998 H240. When I had my bottom painted at Tidewater marina ( a Hunter dealer) I asked them to put one on for me. They ordered one from West Marine that they thought was the correct size but it was a little too wide to fit in the recessed area where it is supposed to go. They told me I would have to get it from Hunter. I am contacting Hunter now to get one, however does anybody out there have any suggestions vs. ordering from Hunter that my be less expensive. Thanks, Bill Krause S/V Slapshot

Hunter dealer did ours.

My Hunter dealer installed our anchor roller with one they had in stock. I don't know where they got it, though. If you want to send them an email I am sure they would help you. Their web site is attached. Hope this helps.

Try this

Hi Try this web address: http://www.c-2.com/forums/menu.tpl?fno=5 Hunter gave me this when I was looking for a bow rollder on my 23.5. I imagine they are the same, but I'm not 100 per cent sure. Alan Long S/V Random Access (94 23.5)

One more note

I'm not sure if it's the one Hunter uses at the factory, but mine came with one from a company called Salty Dog. I don't know if there are different models, but it fit pretty snugly into the channel. It's easy to install, but you will have to drill holes and then tap them to the correct size of your screws. Don't forget to put a little 5300 under the whole thing just for good measure. P.S. I know most people wouldn't do this, but I have a friend who drilled a 7/16 whole for 7/16 screws. You gotta go down a size so you have something to bite into.
