I have a 25lb Supreme and it won't work with the factory roller that's on the Bow platform, it's a thru platform roller and with the roll bar on the Supreme the anchor will not come up all the way. I would like to mount a roller set up off the end or even canted to the side a little and am looking for different idea's ?
Any body here have a supreme that can recommend a roller set up that fits that anchor nicely ?
Any body have this set up http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|10391|33872|712840&id=590742
Although the price is way more than I was looking to spend but with the measurements I might be able to Fab one myself.

I recently purchased a MS as well. The new boat doesn't have a bow roller and I will add one at some point as well. That seems pretty expensive, at least I didn't think it should cost that much. The new boat has a big enough anchor locker for the MS so I am just stowing it in there for now until add a roller, might be a while out though as I think I have higher priorities on my list. Glad you started this thread though as it will hopefully inspire some good idea :)

Sorry, that I'm no help btw

That Roller set up IS more than I would need but I tend to over do things. Right now I have the Anchor in a Cock pit locker and only use it if the wind looks like it will get bad but would like to use it always.
As I have time I will build one myself, probably over next winter, Just digging for ideas now.

IMHO, you'd be better off with this roller: LINK

I have it on my boat and it is set up slightly offset, but works quite well. Here's a photo of the setup.

Before you purchase something check out Garhauer Marine. Their prices are usually less and the quality is better.

BTW, the bow roller in the photo above is normally used with a Rocna 15, and would hold a Manson Supreme 35 just fine from what I've seen.

Thanks Sailingdog, if the Rocna fits it ok then the Manson should. I'll have to take some measurements when I get back to the boat. Make a foot print pattern so when I'm here at home I can better judge what Im looking at on the Computer. My Furling unit / Forstay is right at the end of the Pullpit so I have to work around that.
Thanks

Steve, I didn't find anything on Garhauer Marine website to do with Anchors .

You're welcome. BTW, on the Garhauer site, in the catalog, they're called bow rollers. :)

The Kingston product is SUBSTANTIAL. I have Garhauer and Kingston. The Kingston's metal is easily twice the thickness. While I'm not sure that is enough to justify the price it is certainly up to tthe task. If "standard" duty is OK then by all means use Garhauer. On my Hunter 33 everything that can be Garhauer IS garhauer.
