anchor roller advice

We have a 1985 Hunter 31 and a 33# Bruce anchor, but no anchor roller. We are looking for advice on what type of roller other Hunter owners have had luck with, and if there is a special anchor roller for our anchor.Thanks for all your help in advance!

You may want to pose this question in the "midsize boats" forum, since you have a Hunter 31. More owners with that model seem to check that forum first! You may get more suggestions that way.

Custom made .

If your roller furling goes down through the deck, you will probably need to get one custom made.I was able to make my own out of 3/16" thick stainless but not many people can do that.Would e mail drawings if you like.

Anchor roller

We installed a Simpson-Lawrence KBR-20, on the bow of our 1980 Hunter 30, and hang a 15# Danforth. The roller is installed at an angle and just to the side of the bow stem piece. Look in the catalogs and take some measurements and you will find what you need.
