A temporary fix: I mounted a “V” shaped bow roller (from a trailer) on the rub rail about even with the back end of the locker. That way. You can pull up rode and chain without dragging it across you rub rail, or having to reach out past the boat to pull – not good for the back. In the long run, I want to make a bow roller also to carry a larger anchor, but it looks like quite a project. Can’t figure out why someone doesn’t make one.
