Anchor Mount Possibilities for the 260?

I have a new 260 and love the big boat feel it has. I am wondering if the anchor situation could be bettered by mounting an anchor roller on the bow and having the anchor at "ready" so someone could simply release it rather that pick it up to drop it overboard. I haven't noticed anyone having done this modification on a 260, but it looks doable to me. Any feedback out there on this?

Hi Stan, I added an AR-3 anchor roller in the space provided exiting the anchor locker. You could also add a holder on the bow pulpit so it would be quick and easy to deploy when the spot was picked. I think that unless you anchor a lot single handed it would be better to usually leave the anchor in the locker. It is easy to wash down the anchor and rode at the same time in the locker at home or at the dock. Also its not out to be bumped or banged etc. during the most of the time not anchored.
