Has anyone mounted a pad eye or cleat inside the anchor locker? also thinking about installing some midship cleats for spring lines. Has anyone mounted line chocks on the stern of the boat?

Yes, but...

My boat came with a pad eye but I would only trust it to keep the bitter end from going overboard. It's not reinforced enough to take the strain of anchoring. The anchor locker is not built strong enough for that. I use a bow cleat for cleating off the anchor rode.

not for anchoring

I wasn't going to use it for anchoring. I figured I would tie off the end anchor rode so it won't accident run out if not watched.

so it's tied off somewhere else too?

I don't think we understand what you mean. if you intend to use it to hold the bitter end while securing it somewhere else too that is hopefully reinforced, I'm not sure what your point is? The rode is either fastened to something reinforced (to prevent losing it) or it's not.

My H376 came with a cleat

in the locker. I guess it was a bad assumption to think that it is re-inforced and designed to handle a heavy load. I will have to take a look at that but it has withstood a 50+ knot night once with no problems so maybe it is re-inforced.

Make sure you through-bolt it

Anything that is going to take "anchoring" type loads or live rigging loads should be through-bolted with a backing substantial backing plate to spread the load to the boat structure. If you try just using screws they will pull out (at the worst possable time BTW). This can make installing them a real bear as you need access to the back side and most hunters have that darned double deck construction that looks good but is heck for installing stuff. Perhaps you could use a toe-rail cleat. Simple, and you can move it around as needed till you find "just the right spot".
