Hello, i was brushing up on anchoring gear and took a closer look at my setup and have determined that what i have from previous owner might be less than what is best for less than ideal weather comfort.
Looks like i have a size 1/4 inch size chain by the measurments shown and total length of chain is 20 feet. I do have a nice SS swivel and a good anchor itself but was considering beefing up the size and length of chain. A friend has 43 feet of what we think is 5/16 in size and grade 30 and offered it to me for 75 bucks.
Not 100% sure this is ideal and would welcome comments, please see pics...
