An Alden Challenger for sale FREYJA

I talked to the owner of this boat a few years ago. He had just returned from Bermuda with his wife and son. Saddly he died suddenly shortly thereafter. His wife has the boat for sale. I don't know much about the condition, a mention of rusting backing plates. The price is around 50,000 so I am told.

I just bought "Freyja" with my friend Jim. We look forward to joining in the Forum.
I have had a great time checking out all the postings.
Dave has really done a magnificent job.
I too have read most of Tristan Jone's books. I couldn't put down Dalton's fascinating "Wayward Sailor" I missed a chance to meet Tristan in Greenwich Village. What a character!!! Hope Dave isn't too disappointed. Nice to be aboard... TED
