I'm wondering if there is a site where I can get a owners manual for a amf Zuma? Is there much if any difference between the amf and vanguard Zuma boats? I just bought a 1987 and would like a manual and any info anyone may have. Thank You!

I doubt there is much difference between a Vanguard and an AMF Zuma - your best source of info is likely to be Vanguard at the link below. A friend who is restoring an old CFJ was able to get good info from them & if there is not much difference a current manual and parts list should help you a lot.

Hi - I'm interested in purchasing a 1985 Zuma. I'm not much of a sailer (yet), so I have a few newbie type questions. - How difficult is it to set the mast into the boat? When I grew up, my family had an O'Day which was an absolute nightmare to get the mast onto the boat. The Zuma mast appears pretty high, so what is the process to get the mast installed? - I may want to leave the boat moored on a lake when not in use. Is it easy to store the sail with the boat? - For this specific boat, some of the sail battens are missing and the ropes are in very bad shape. Are parts easy to find? How much would all new ropes cost? Thanks for all the help! Jen
