Ed, You might try using a heavy duty rubbing compound and them polishing it. If that doesn't work you might try wet-sanding it and then polishing the mast Good luck Charlie
DO NOT use any harsh polish such as rubbing compound or sandpaper as you will ruin the thin anodized layer of the aluminium mast just wash with soup and water and apply a non abrasive wax. mario
